Tahoe is just a two-hour drive away from Sacramento. Maddie grew up going there to boat on the lake during summertime and ski on the mountains during wintertime. Nathan has spent a lot of time there as well at his late grandfather's cabin in North Star. If you have never been, have a night or two available, and plan to rent a car, we highly suggest you go check it out! There are plenty of outdoor activities you can arrange on and around the beautiful lake. Here are some of their favorite bars and restaurants (located on/near the West Shore AKA the best shore):
San Francisco is also about a two-hour drive from Sacramento. Maddie and Nathan are moving back in the spring of 2024!
Go for a night or two and try out some of Maddie's favorite past times - walk to the base of the iconic Golden Gate Bridge, stroll through the gorgeous Presidio, have a picnic at Fort Mason or Delores Park, or visit one of the many fun bars and restaurants. Here are her top recommendations:
